Two Ways to Stamp
1. Stamped Overlays (Restoration)
- The Scenario: You already have a concrete patio, but it’s gray, stained, and boring.
- The FAMSCA Solution: We don't have to tear it out. We apply a 1/4" to 3/8" layer of high-strength polymer cement over your existing slab and stamp the texture into that. It saves you the cost of demolition while giving you a brand-new look.
2. Fresh Pour Stamping
- The Scenario: You are pouring a new driveway or extending a patio.
- The FAMSCA Solution: We pour full-depth concrete and impress the rubber stamps into the wet surface, creating deep, realistic textures that last a lifetime.

Hand-Crafted Realism
Stamped concrete shouldn't look "fake." The secret is in the coloring.
- Base Color: We integrate the primary color into the concrete itself.
- Antiquing Agent: We apply a darker "release agent" that settles into the grout lines and textures, creating shadows and depth just like real stone.
- Sealing: We apply a high-solids sealer to enhance the colors and protect the surface from UV fading and oil stains.

Stamped Concrete FAQ
Is stamped concrete slippery?
It can be if sealed with a high-gloss sealer. However, we always add a non-slip additive (grip) to the final coat for pool decks and driveways to ensure safety, even when wet.
Will the color fade?
We use UV-resistant pigments and sealers. While all exterior surfaces weather over time, a simple "clean and reseal" every 3-4 years will bring the color right back to life.
Can you stamp over cracks?
If we are doing a Stamped Overlay, we repair the cracks first. However, if the underlying slab moves, the crack can reflect through. We often incorporate the cracks into the "grout lines" of the stone pattern to hide them.
